MEETS

Cross Country 2025 Schedule:

There are six regular season meets, a league finals meet and potentially a combined league championships. All meets start at 4:00 p.m. and are usually completed between 6-7 p.m. The dates are:

• Wednesday, Sept. 24: Miller/Knox Park in Richmond 

• Monday, Sept. 29: King Middle School 

• Wednesday, Oct. 1: Stanley Middle School in Lafayette

• Wednesday, Oct. 8: Jean Sweeney Park in Alameda 

• Wednesday, Oct. 15: Lake Temescal in Oakland

• Monday, Oct. 20: King Middle School 

• Monday, October 27: 6th Grade Division Finals at King Middle School 

• Wednesday, October 29: 7th/8th Grade Division Finals at Kennedy Grove in El Sobrante

• Monday, November 3: Combined League Finals at Lafayette Park

Order of events

Please note that the gender order often switches between meets. The seventh and eighth grade races are also sometimes combined depending on how many athletes are racing.

Timing of events

Competitions start at 4 p.m. and are usually done sometime between 6 and 7 p.m. Races proceed in a rolling order and we do not have exact start times. 

Course Map for Home Meets

Travel

We rely entirely on parent car pools to get our runners to and from meets. We use SignUp genius to coordinate rides. Even if you are planning to drive just your runner, please sign up so we can account for your athlete. Our motto is: "Either we all go, or none go."

We gather at the Hopkins Street Gate at the track at 2:30 when meets are on Wednesdays. All other days, we meet at 3:10. Kids will also be dropped off there at approximately 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. after the race.

If you are planning to drive, please send a copy of your driver's license, registration, and insurance to LEARNS Office in Room B1.
